Hier ist das Zitat, das ich suchte:

Vor zwei Tagen (drei Tagen?) bin ich einem Link in den Comments gefolgt und muss dann noch mal irgendwohin geklickt haben, denn die Commentlinks habe ich natürlich schon durchprobiert. In dem Blog, das ich jetzt nicht mehr wiederfinde, stand ein längeres Zitat von Zappa: Genauer gesagt sollte erst gerätselt werden, von wem es ist und im nächsten Beitrag stand die Auflösung. Dieses Zitat würde (jetzt) so verdammt gut auf eine Unterhaltung passen, die ich gerade per Mail mit einem Freund führe, aber ich find es nicht mehr.
Also falls jetzt jemand ein »Ah! Ich weiß, wo« verspürt, nur her damit bitte ...
Hast Du eine Hinweis, worum es in dem Zitat geht? Von Zappa gibt es einige bemerkenswerte Zitate.
Dass man für Einsamkeit auch dankbar sein kann, weil man keine Zeit auf nervtötende Leute verschwendet oder so ähnlich.

So hab ich das noch nie betrachtet.
Ich bin die Jahre über in diese Richtung gewandert, nachdem ich über lange Zeit viel zu offen und freundlich war und eine unglaubliche Menge ... Leute ... ansammelte, die im Grunde ja doch nur guckten, was sie von mir kriegen können und dann auch noch sehr wütend (und unterirdisch) wurden, wenn ich mich zurückzog.
GEDACHT habe ich das schon lange, ich erinnere mich daran, dass ich ungefähr so etwas einer anderen lieben Petra gesagt habe - 1998. Und zu dir sag ich nur: Landfrauen.
